TEC Inc. and TEC GmbH, TEC’s wholly-owned German subsidiary, have provided environmental compliance support to the U. S. Army Installation Command Europe and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District since 1992.

TEC has worked consistently with IMCOM-Europe to ensure that Army installations comply with the environmental regulations (Final Governing Standards) of the host countries, the Department of Defense, and the U.S. Army in Europe. TEC regularly conducts systematic environmental performance audits that assist the installations to reach and maintain their compliance goals. TEC has also helped with the development and implementation of the Environmental Management Systems at the installations at Hohenfels and Ansbach in Germany and has trained garrison staff in the fundamentals of using the EMS to achieve continuous improvement. TEC provides onsite staff support to installations in Germany and Italy in areas such as conservation management, hazardous material management, and pollution prevention.

TEC participated in demonstration environmental compliance assessment programs in Poland and Hungary.
