TEC’s Asset Management staff has performed numerous roof renovation projects for the University of Virginia and the Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Substance Abuse Services. TEC staff has provided repair and replacement services for a wide variety of roofs, including roofs of historic facilities at the University of Virginia and roofs of slate, copper, standing seam metal, typical membranes, and built-up roofing. Services typically include field investigation of existing as-built conditions, preparation of construction documents, assistance to the owner in the construction contract bid phase, and construction observation and administration.
