Kate has 23 years of professional experience in research and analysis of natural resources and environmental planning. She has successfully managed National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) analyses for federal clients since 1996, and prior to that was active in academic research of aquatic ecosystems for agencies including the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She has been a key contributor in the preparation of over 70 NEPA documents, including Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, and related documents such as Biological Evaluations and Assessments for federal clients. While her focus has generally been with the military, including ANG, AETC, AMC, AFCEE, ACC, U.S. Army, FORSCOM, USACE, she has also provided expertise to BLM and the USFS .

Kate has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a Master of Science in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from Utah State University.
