Bill Wear is an Auxiliary Office Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Environmental Scientist experienced in development, preparation, and issuance of comprehensive environmental policy on airspace and air-to-ground range actions (RAICUZ), the environmental impact analysis process, and base closure actions. With over 39 years of management and technical experience, he has coordinated airspace and environmental actions at the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Environmental Security for the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserves, along with components of the Departments of the Interior, Federal Aviation Administration, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Auburn University and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Webster University. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Colonel, with positions in the HQ USAF Environmental Division, and as the Chief, Directorate Staff, for the Director, Air National Guard.
