Dick Heiderstadt is one of the founders of TEC and is the company’s president and chief executive officer. He has over 35 years of environmental planning experience with an emphasis on National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) related projects. His technical experience has focused on water resources development, transportation planning, infrastructure development, and military operations.

Dick has a Bachelor of Science degree in Government from Iowa State University, a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Hawaii, and a Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) degree from Rutgers University. He is a Certified Planner and charter member of the American Planning Association, and is a member of various professional organizations including the Society of American Military Engineers.
