Rick Cornelius is one of the founders of TEC and currently works as a Senior Program/Project Manager. He has over 35 years of environmental law experience with a focus on the “regulated” community. His technical experience has focused on National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and compliance with all significant environmental statutes and regulations.

Rick has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from American University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the William and Mary College of Law. He has taught numerous environmental compliance courses for federal agencies, commercial entities, and universities. He has litigated dozens of environmental law suits, including two at the U.S. Supreme Court.
