George Krasnick is a Principal of TEC and Pacific Region Manager. He has 36 years of experience in environmental planning, impact analysis, and permitting for urban, resort, and coastal development; transportation and infrastructure; fossil-fuel and alternative energy; ocean mining; dredging and waste disposal; fishery management; and aquaculture in Hawaii and the Pacific Basin.

 George has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science degree in biological oceanography from the University of Hawaii. He is a past chairman of the State of Hawaii Environmental Council and of the Ecosystem and Habitat Advisory Panel to the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council. He also served on the Fishery Council’s Scientific and Statistical Committee. He is member of the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Association of Environmental Professionals, and a member of the Marine Technology Society and the American Planning Association.
