Jim Hunt serves as the Northeast Regional Manager and is one of the firm’s Transportation Planning Practice Leaders. Jim earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tufts University and his Masters in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Planning and Management from Stanford University.

Jim has served as Project Manager and/or Project Director for the planning, permitting and development of complex transportation projects located around the world. His experience includes the complete planning and management of ports, airports and rail/intermodal projects. He has experience in all phases of project development, from concept planning through to design, and has specialized in analysis of the technical and financial feasibility of projects. His participation on several large privatization projects has focused on the financial and technical issues surrounding privatization of traditionally publicly funded transportation projects.
